 Wellbeing Ambassador Course for Educators

For any adult working in education to develop their yoga practice and learn how to share mindfulness and yoga tools in a wide variety of effective ways in the classroom.

This practical, flexible, and transformational online course is for adults working in education. Where possible, we try to have at least three to five in-person events throughout the course. We teach you everyday skills to help manage life’s ups and downs for your personal and professional life as well as some basic techniques to teach your students to help them. We give you a toolkit of movement and mindfulness techniques to fit around your life and transform your classroom.

Bliss.ed
Peer-to-Peer Course

Created by Robin and Flo to inspire and mentor teenagers to develop their own yoga practice and share a few techniques with their peers.

This mentoring programme empowers young people and has a bronze and silver award with in-person and online work and can be adjusted to suit a school's individual needs.  In the bronze award, we introduce yoga, teaching breathing techniques, movement, and mindfulness to manage: stress, low confidence, and anxiety. The goal of bronze is to inspire students to establish their own regular yoga practice. The techniques can be easily used in day-to-day life. In silver award Bliss.ed Ambassadors are coached on leadership skills and how to share some simple wellbeing practices with their peers. The silver award is achieved after passing a practical assessment to certify them to share a few simple, powerful breath and movement practices with their peers.

  • Online Learning Testimonial

“Really enjoying the video content on the course so far - super interesting and informative, also really professionally put together, you should be really proud!”

    - James Imerson, Shift Wellbeing Ambassador course participant

  • Yoga in School Testimonial

“The children have benefited from having yoga sessions in school by being able to use some of the breathing techniques and relaxation techniques in day-to-day life, both in and outside of school. They have said how relaxed they feel after completing a yoga session and some even asked to do extra sessions which led to an after-school club being set up and additional sessions in school along side PE.”

    - Lucy Southgate School Teacher

  • Workshop Testimonial

“I just wanted to thank you all for the brilliant in-person workshop yesterday. The energy and warmth in the room was amazing - how often do we come away from training feeling uplifted, nurtured and inspired? I certainly did from this one!”

    - Angie Corbett, Primary School Teacher

  • Yoga practice Testimonial

    - Jemma Woskett, Deputy Head Teacher

  • Student Testimonial

“I’m enjoying the classes. Yoga helps me a lot, I have learnt control and gained the ability to calm myself which helps me in every aspect of my teenage years, from socialising to concentration and education. I play a lot of rugby and yoga helps with that too as it improves mobility and recovery time after games. I believe yoga should be done by all young men. I am grateful to the Shift movement for the help I receive here.”

    - Asher Courts, Teenager

  • Wellbeing Ambassador Course Testimonial

“It has been amazing to dedicate time for my own wellbeing and become more open to another way of thinking on the wellbeing ambassador course. I am seeing the impact of this within my own personal and professional life. I have anxiety and have used breathing techniques to help ground me. Close family friends have noticed a change in me and wanted to know what I had been doing. My Dad has suffered from tight hamstrings for decades and copied me. He is a convert, and I am convincing him to go for lessons! My partner and I are now mort aware of the choices we make in our daily life (being eco-conscious and our diet).”

1:1 Yoga Sessions & Course Mentoring

We offer bespoke mentoring and 1:1 yoga lessons, you can request a specific instructor to match your desires.

Bespoke mentoring is aimed at wellbeing ambassadors who have completed our course and want to have a 30 or 60 minute phone or video call with a coach to get some advice and have a chat about the course or delivering yoga in their school.

The 1-1 yoga lessons are like a yoga class but private so that you can have a fully custom yoga experience. This can be in-person or online.
