Robin became the UK’s youngest yoga instructor and started ‘Bliss by Robin’

During her first year of A-levels, Robin completed a 200-hour teacher training with master yoga instructor Charlotta Martinus at Universal Yoga in Bath, Somerset. Each month, she traveled to Bath for intensive long-weekend sessions over nine months, with her school fully supporting her commitment. Robin found that the course gave her a refreshing reset each time, helping her focus better on her studies and maintain a balanced mind and body.

After qualifying in June 2016, Robin launched "Bliss by Robin," her sole trading business for young people. She began teaching weekly lunchtime and afterschool classes at her secondary school and sixth form. Once she learned to drive in 2017, Robin expanded her outreach, visiting local schools to deliver workshops and assemblies, often sharing her personal story. Her Instagram posts and features in local newspapers fuelled interest, and soon she was leading four popular weekly classes, with her Stroud class alone attracting up to 30 young people.

Robin’s impact quickly grew—she organised yoga and white-water rafting retreats, spoke at the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Yoga in Society at the House of Lords, and presented at conferences like the "Instill Conference" on yoga in education and the "Yoga in Healthcare" conference. She also filmed classes for the Movement for Modern Life platform and taught at the Om Yoga Show in London. At the end of sixth form, Robin’s entrepreneurial spirit was recognized when she was awarded an enterprise cup for her yoga business.
