Shift Wellbeing Ltd are excited to be collaborating with Active Gloucestershire, a charity on a mission to promote physical activity throughout Gloucestershire, to bring you this brilliant Yoga Celebration event! For Primary Schools
As you know Yoga is a special practice, one of connection, fun and body-positivity, and something that we want to celebrate with the young people and schools that we have worked with. We want to create something a bit different for those students that aren’t interested in typical sport fixtures and to have an event to bring the growing community of Shift wellbeing ambassadors together, to continue our learning, best practice and inspire each other.
The concept for this celebration event started in our focus groups last year and lots of you also mentioned it in the survey. We loved your idea and have started to organise the event but really want your input…
…If you’d like to attend the event and bring some students, you need to register, please complete our short survey here. The event has limited attendee numbers and registration is on a first come, first serve basis. The survey feedback will not be shared and will be used solely to help shape the event.

What: This is a new School Games celebration event that is being co-designed and co-led by pupils, the Shift Yoga team and Active Gloucestershire. Young people will have the opportunity to take part in different activities that aim to celebrate and build on their yoga experience including mindfulness, craft and group yoga.
Why: We know that by working with young people to shape an event like this we build their confidence to have their voices heard and we will be able to create the best event for other young people. We hope to celebrate the great work that students and teachers have put into the course and inspire everyone involved to continue their yoga journey.
